Dr. Walid Al-Qerem obtained PhD of Clinical pharmacy from the University of Sunderland, UK. He is an associate professor at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan.
Dr. Al-Qerem's research area covers improving the diagnosis and management of different diseases. This includes validation and formulation of spirometic equations to improve the diagnosis and management of many respiratory diseases including asthma and COPD, developing population specific growth charts to improve the tracking of children's growth, and to identify undiagnosed conditions and validate different instruments used to evaluate health-related quality of life and adherence to medication.
Dr. Al-Qerem's research also covers the study of different variables that influence the outcomes of different diseases.

Dr. Fawaz Alasmari graduated from King Saud University with a bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2011 with class of honor. Dr. Alasmari then joined the Executive Directorate of Pharmacovigilance and Crisis Management Saudi Food and Drug Authority as a Pharmacist. In 2012, Dr. Alasmari moved to the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University as a Teaching Assistant.
In 2013, Dr. Alasmari started his graduate studies at the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the University of Toledo, USA. In 2015, Dr. Alasmari obtained his master of science in Pharmaceutical Sciences- Degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology. In 2018, Dr. Alasmari graduated from the University of Toledo with a PhD in Experimental Therapeutics.
Dr. Alasmari returned to College of Pharmacy, King Saud University as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology. Dr. Alasmari is working on different research projects related to toxicology of drugs of abuse and he has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles in this field and he is now Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology. Dr. Alasmari supervised several graduate students and he is teaching graduate and undergraduate courses related to neuropharmacology. In the end of 2023, Dr. Alasmari got his master in healthcare administration from Saudi Electronic University in association with Colorado State University-Global Campus.
