Dr. Kirakosyan is an accomplished scientist with a rich educational and research background. He holds a D.Sc. in Biochemistry and Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Yerevan State University, Armenia. His postdoctoral research spans several prestigious institutions, including Gifu Pharmaceutical University in Japan, the Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research in Germany, and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, USA. He has also been a visiting scientist at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany, and Cornell University in Ithaca, USA.

Currently, Dr. Kirakosyan serves as the Chief Science Officer at Pure Green Pharmaceuticals Inc. He has held various academic positions, including Professor of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at Yerevan State University and Research Faculty at the University of Michigan Medical School. He is presently an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Northern Michigan University and an Adjunct Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Dr. Kirakosyan's research focuses on high-value natural products and dietary supplements, particularly those with synergistic or antagonistic effects that are crucial for human health and well-being. Additionally, his studies aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of bioactive compounds at target sites, with significant implications for cardiovascular diseases, metabolic syndrome, and type II diabetes.

In addition to his research, Dr. Kirakosyan has been involved in clinical trials examining the effects of phytochemicals on inflammation and oxidative stress.

He is an author and editor for Taylor and Francis, contributing to the bestsellers “Natural Products from Plants, 2nd Edition” and “Handbook of Molecular and Cellular Methods in Biology and Medicine, 3rd Edition.” His extensive publication record reflects his dedication to advancing nutritional biochemistry and dietary supplements.

Mohammed S. Razzaque, MBBS, PhD, is a Professor at the Department of Medical Education at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). He has a diverse academic background, having served as a Professor of pathology at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), as an Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) and as a Lecturer at the Nagasaki University School of Medicine, Japan. Dr. Razzaque obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Chittagong University in Bangladesh and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Nagasaki University in Japan. He completed his renal pathology training at Nagasaki University School of Medicine and worked as a consultant of renal pathology at Riyadh Military Hospital in Saudi Arabia. As a faculty representative from Harvard University, Dr. Razzaque took part in the Human Resources for Health (HRH) Program in Rwanda, a global health initiative aimed at enhancing the quality and quantity of health professionals in Rwanda by fostering collaboration between a group of U.S. academic institutions, including Harvard Medical School, and the Government of Rwanda. Additionally, during his time as a Visiting Professor, he provided instruction and established research partnerships at Antwerpen University in Belgium, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and Ahmet Yesevi University in Kazakhstan.

Dr. Razzaque's primary research focus is to comprehend the mechanisms behind disease conditions related to the abnormal regulation of phosphate homeostasis, such as chronic kidney disease, vascular calcification, and premature aging. Additionally, Dr. Razzaque aims to reveal the novel physiological regulation of phosphate by the bone-kidney axis. His research is financially supported by the National Institutes of Health (USA), and Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (Japan).

Dr. Razzaque is currently serving as an Editor for various journals, including Histochemistry and Cell Biology, Frontiers in Endocrinology, Acta Histochemica et Cytochemica, and Medical Molecular Morphology.
