Join the African American Studies for many exciting events coming up in the Spring 2010 Lecture Series!
Tomorrow, the African American Studies Program will collaborate with UMOJA and Company One to present a night of performance and discussion in celebration of the upcoming production of “The Emancipation of Mandy and Miz Ellie.” Stop by for performances by the Boston dance group OrigiNation and BU’s own Speak for Yourself.
Next week, the African American Studies Program will host Assistant Professor of Religion Anjulet Tucker for a lecture entitled “We’re Movin’ On Up!: AfroPentecostal Schools as Mechanisms for African American Social Mobility”
Both events will be held at the Howard Thurman Center at 4pm.
