
Chloe Bordewich

Chloe Bordewich is a historian of the modern Middle East and of Middle Eastern diaspora communities in North America. Her interests lie in the intersections of empire, technology, and public access to knowledge. Bordewich received a PhD in history and Middle Eastern studies from Harvard University in May 2022 with a dissertation titled Leaking Empires: The Struggle over Information in the Eastern Mediterranean, 1870-1952. She is also the co-founder of the Boston Little Syria Project, a public history initiative.
