Dorri C. Scott is a best selling author and Founder/Publisher of Virginia WOMAN Magazine where she served as the Executive Managing Editor for 10 years. An Adjunct Professor, she is a Clinical Social Worker, Certified Mediator and Family-Parent Coach in private practice.
An international lecturer on race, gender, culture and antiracism, Dorri has travelled to 38 countries, 44 states, is the recipient of numerous awards for her political, community service, publishing and entrepreneurial pursuits.
Currently pursuing a Doctorate in women’s studies she lives in the Washington DC metro area where she continues to get into “good trouble” for causes and groups she supports including gender/race equity and inclusion, black lives matter, human rights and antiracism acts and policy for change.
She holds a BA in Political Science (The College o NJ), Masters in Clinical Social Work (Un KS) and a graduate of the Harvard Business School, Boston, MA.
