I am a physician and addiction medicine specialist who trained at UCSF. Much of my research and educational work has focused on expanding access to treatment for patients who have substance use disorders and other complex medical and mental health problems. As a Professor at BU, I lead the Grayken Center for Addiction, and have a particular focus on making addiction treatment more appealing and effective for Black and brown people who have substance use disorders.
