Dr. Lev Manovich is the author of Software Takes Command, Soft Cinema: Navigating the Database, and The Language of New Media. [...]Dr. Manovich is a Professor at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a Director of the Software Studies Initiative. In 2013, he appeared on the List of 25 People Shaping the Future of Design. In 2004, he was included in the list of 50 “most interesting people building the future” (The Verge).
