In the wake of her provocative book, prominent journalist Hanna Rosin offers up her "end of men" thesis to a two-day interdisciplinary conference held at BU Law in October. Her keynote address outlines the proposition that women have made such [...]remarkable progress in all domains—and men have suffered such declines and reversals—that women are effectively surpassing men and becoming the dominant sex. Ralph Banks, author of Is Marriage for White People?, and Michael Kimmel, noted sociologist and spokesperson for The National Organization For Men Against Sexism, help incite and deepen the discussion with responses to Rosin's address.
Hosted by the School of Law on October 12-13, 2012.
