The Boston University School of Social Work and Boston Medical Center are collaborating on a project, funded by a $1.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense, to address the needs of military service members who have deployed to Iraq or [...]Afghanistan and who return to their very young children. Two BU researchers talk about establishing a relationship with the military community, about the impact of deployment on spouses and children, and about the intervention program they plan to develop.
