Nitride Semiconductors and their Applications to Solid State Lighting and Water/Air Purification
Theodore D. Moustakas has been a professor in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at Boston University since 1987, is author of some 300 [...]publications, and has been cited in more than 7,000 works. A pioneering researcher, Moustakas is most famously known for inventing the process that made the blue LED possible, one of 25 patents registered in his name. He gave the 2011 Distinguished Scholar Award Lecture about his research on the development of nitride semiconductors and its impact on the future.
