Sahin-Toth Appointed to JBC Editorial Board
Dr. Miklos Sahin-Toth, assistant professor of molecular and cell biology, has been invited to join the editorial board of the Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC) for a five-year term. As a member of the editorial board, Sahin-Toth, along with fellow board members from around the world, will review submissions to help determine the Journal’s content.
"JBC is a very prestigious journal," says Dr. Carlos Hirschberg, professor and chair of the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology. "In fact, it is the most cited journal in the biological sciences."
JBC is the flagship publication of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, which will celebrate its centennial next year. Other BUSDM faculty who have served on JBC’s editorial board include Dr. Phillips W. Robbins, professor of molecular and cell biology, and Dr. Hirschberg.
