DMD Students Mark End of Second Year With Pizza Party

Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) DMD students celebrated the last day of their second year at a pizza party sponsored by the Alumni Association. The party was held immediately following the students’ last exam and gave them an opportunity to relax and enjoy lunch in the company of their classmates. The party also celebrated the students’ entrance into third year where they will spend the majority of their time working in the pre-doctoral patient treatment center.
Alumni Board President Shadi Daher DMD 90, OMFS 94 hosted the event and shared memories from his second and third years in dental school with the students in attendance adding, "On behalf of the Alumni Association I’d like to congratulate you for completing the last exam of your second year. You are now about to begin work in the pre-doctoral patient treatment center, which I know many of you have been waiting for since dental school began. This is a major step in your education as you continue your journey to join the ranks of the proud alumni of GSDM."
Students were also presented with GSDM glasses as celebratory gifts at the party.
