Dr. Judith Jones Highlighted in July AADR Science Advocate

Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) Professor and Chair of General Dentistry Dr. Judith Jones was featured in the Strides in Science section of the American Association for Dental Research (AADR) monthly Science Advocate newsletter.

The Strides in Science section highlights an AADR member’s accomplishments and details how their AADR involvement has been important to their career in research. Dr. Jones has been a member of the AADR since 1986. In 2007, she received the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist Award.

The article details Dr. Jones’s background in research, her current research, and her work with students. When asked what she finds to be the most valuable benefit of AADR membership she stated, "Working with colleagues on programs and projects over the decades has been very exciting. Membership in AADR has allowed me to learn what other colleagues are doing in other places of the country, which is an exciting benefit."

"Congratulations to Dr. Jones for being selected for this AADR feature," said Dean Jeffery Hutter. "It is wonderful to see her commitment to research recognized by such a respected organization."
