Oral Health Highlighted at B a New U Wellness Fair 2010

Division of Community Health Programs (CHP) Oral Health Promotion Director Kathy Lituri, accompanied by students Ali Arastu DMD 11 and Kanchan Dharma DMD 11, promoted oral health awareness at the B a New U Wellness Fair 2010, held March 25, on the Boston University Charles River Campus.

The annual fair is organized by Student Health Services and targets undergraduate students. Each table emphasizes a different aspect of health. At this year’s fair attendees had the chance to interact with and earn stamps from several tables in order to be entered into a raffle for great prizes, including a camera donated by CHP.

"CHP has volunteered at this annual fair for several years,” said Lituri. “It is a wonderful, well-attended event, and the student volunteers and I are always happy to share tips and facts on oral health issues important to college students. It is a great learning experience for everyone involved.”
