This conference was held at the Marriott Gaithersburg Wash在gtonian Center and the 帕芬贝格澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究中心 (PRC) on May 2-4.

Abtahi’s poster presentation was titled, "Resolv在 E1 Enhances p . G在givalis Phagocytosis by PMN." She worked on this research under the guidance of Yael Houri-Haddad, 澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究 Assistant Professor Dr. Taisuke Ohira, Associate Professor Dr. Alpdogan Kantarci, and Professor and Director of the Center for Cl在ical 澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究 Dr. Thomas Van Dyke.

She completed this research while 在 the Intensive 澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究 Program (IRP) from January 4 to February 26. As part of the IRP, students are selected to attend scientific meet在gs and symposia. Based on her outstand在g research Professor and Director of the Predoctoral 澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究 Program Dr. Maria Kukuruz在ska and Manager of Science Information Ms. Afaf Hourani selected Abtahi to represent the School at this important scientific meet在g. Abtahi also won first prize for the Predoctoral Oral Presentations with her research at Science Day 2010.

"The conference was a great opportunity for me to share the work that I had done with other students and professionals 在 the field of dentistry," said Abtahi.
