New BU ASDA Executive Board Looks Forward to Productive Year

Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine’s (GSDM) chapter of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) held elections for the 2010-2011 Executive Board in April. Candidates for each position were interviewed by voting members of the standing ASDA Board and votes were cast.

"Every year ASDA is fortunate to have a strong, enthusiastic Board and this year is no different," said Heather Parsons DMD 11. "We placed a record number of students into positions, and we are looking forward to a very full and productive year. As a Board, we will continue our mission of providing opportunities for students to become involved in organized dentistry during their dental school careers."

Assistant Dean of Students Dr. Joseph Calabrese added, "We had the greatest number of applicants for leadership positions this year, which has resulted in a strong core of leadership. I am confident that the elected student leaders will do a great job and I look forward to building on last year’s record number of events."
