Sunshine and Cowboy Hats: Endodontic Alumni Association Holds Fall Meeting in Scottsdale

Members of the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) Endodontic Alumni Association held their Fall 2010 Meeting at the Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, Arizona from October 13 to 17. Host Thomas V. McClammy ENDO 99 put together a stellar line-up of speakers and activities for attendees.

Speakers included Dr. Michael Schuster, Dr. Ben Johnson, Dr. Enrico DiVito, Bryan Beebe ENDO 93, Dr. McClammy, and Herbert Schilder Chair in Endodontics and Program Director of the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics Dr. George Huang ENDO 88, MSD 89, ORAL BIO 92. Three current endodontic residents—Loai Alsofi ENDO 11, Stylianos Krithinakis ENDO 11, and Yael Winestock ENDO 11—also attended the meeting and presented case studies and research to the enthusiastic alumni.

Following Saturday’s lecture an alumni business meeting was conducted by Dr. Huang and Endodontic Alumni Association President Derrick Wong ENDO 00.

"This year’s Fall Meeting was a great success," said Dr. Huang. "All of the speakers were well received and the alumni had a great time at the social events planned for each evening. I was also very proud of the three residents who attended and presented their case studies and research." Dr. Huang continued, "The alumni were really blown away by their excellent work."
