BUGSDM Shines at Annual Tri-School Symposium

Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM) participated in the 2008 Jay S. Seibert Tri-School Symposium at New York University College of Dentistry on April 25 and 26. Other participating schools included New York University and the University of Pennsylvania. The symposium focused on periodontics and implant dentistry.
Faculty and residents from the BUGSDM postdoctoral programs in periodontics and prosthodontics attended the event. Four postdoctoral residents presented their research at the event, including Camille Siqueira PERIO 08, Minimally Invasive Sinus Elevation, When and How?; Alan Lee PERIO 08, Autogenous Block Grafts: Chin Versus Ramus; Rema Abdallah PERIO 09, Don’t Just Graft it: Split it!; and Adnan Ishgi PROS 08, Anterior Esthetics: Communication, Communication, Communication.
"BUGSDM once again performed exceptionally well at the symposium," said Professor and Director of the Clinical Research Center Thomas Van Dyke. "The research presented by the residents was outstanding, and just like years past, this was the highlight of the academic year for residents and faculty alike."
