GSDM Wishes Kathi Ferland Farewell At Reception

The Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) community turned out on Friday, April 24 to wish Kathi Ferland a fond farewell as she retired after 38 years of service. Ferland, surrounded by her friends and family, fondly recounted working with each of the three deans of GSDM and talked about some of the highlights of working at the School for the last four decades.
"Each and every one of you has taught me something different, and for that I’m grateful," said Ferland.
Dean Jeffrey Hutter also wished Kathi best of luck with her retirement plans, in particular the book she has set out to write.
"Kathi has had a remarkable career at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine which has been characterized by enthusiasm, commitment, dedication and kindness," said Dean Hutter. "I think I speak for the entire School when I say we truly appreciate the many contributions that Kathi has made over the years."
