Senior Lunch Honors Graduates’ Achievements

A luncheon in honor of the graduating class of 2009 was held on May 16 at the Fuller Building. Hosts Dean Jeffrey Hutter and Mrs. Kathy Hutter welcomed graduating students and their guests to the brunch and extended their best wishes to students for the future.
"You have worked very hard during your years at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and during yesterday’s convocation, your hard work was rewarded as you received your DMD degrees at our commencement ceremony and took another step toward entering your chosen profession of dentistry," said Dean Jeffrey Hutter. "Some of you have chosen to continue your dental education in the coming year, earning an advanced postdoctoral degree or certificate. Others of you will begin practicing dentistry, teaching or conducting research, putting into practice all that you have learned during your time at Boston University." Dean Hutter continued, "No matter what your plans are, know that your Boston University education has prepared you for all of the challenges ahead."
Following the opening remarks, representatives from various organization and departments, assisted by the Registrar’s Office, presented awards to students based on outstanding academic achievement and service. The full list of awards and award recipients can be found here.
