GSDM Alums Celebrated at AAE 2010 Annual Session

Alumni, faculty, and residents of Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM), as well as Boston University Institute of Dental Research and Education (BUIDRE) Dubai second-year endodontic resident Mohamed Jamal Ahmed, gathered in San Diego, California for the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) 2010 Annual Session, held April 14-17.

During the Session three GSDM alums; Cami Ferris ENDO 00, Derrick Wong ENDO 00, and Wyatt Simons ENDO 01; were announced as 2009 Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics. The announcement and invocation ceremony took place at the Thirteenth Annual Louis I. Grossman Luncheon on April 15. New Diplomates were recognized for demonstrating what the American Board of Endodontics stands for with the desire, effort, and commitment required to achieve this professional and public recognition. Fellow alum Harold Goodis ENDO 63 serves as President of the College of Diplomates and also spoke during the luncheon.

Also during the Annual Session, GSDM held an alumni reception on Friday, April 16 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt that was attended by more than 150 people. The following day a business luncheon for the Endodontic Alumni Association took place.
