Graduates Celebrated at Orthodontic Dinner

On May 19, a dinner was held at the BU Castle to celebrate the 2011 graduates of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics. The dinner was attended by the eight graduating residents along with their family members and friends, as well as the first-year orthodontics residents and faculty and staff of the department.

Chair & Anthony A. Gianelly Professor in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics Dr. Leslie Will addressed the attendees, speaking briefly about each resident and presenting them with a bouquet of flowers. She said, “Although I cannot take credit for making the decisions to admit these new orthodontists into the program, I am so very proud of each one of them. I’m delighted to welcome them as new alumni and look forward to their continued participation in our department and our School.”

One of the graduates, Daniela Toro Ramirez ORTHO 11, also had a touching presentation for her fellow graduates. The presentation included a slideshow of pictures of the most memorable activities and events that the group had participated in over the last two years.
