Here on Comm Ave . . .

IMG_4331

Started the morning jammin’ to Afrika Bambaataa, doing a run with Student Food Rescue, and receiving a plain blessing from a shelter worker – I’m ready to greet new folk and strangers to tell our stories.  Another in our weekly opportunities to tell your story come. New Terriers are back in the house and ready to hear the stories that fill this place.  Again, it’s time to give the new folk their time to know what this place is about and, for us, to show ‘em what we’ve got.

Here’s a preview of some of the sounds from the second orientation session:

  • Sunny by Bobby Hebb
  • Give Me Everything by Ne-Yo & Pitbull
  • Sean Haye’s smooth Powerful Stuff
  • Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen
  • Bruno Mar’s The Lazy Song
  • U2’s City of Blinding Light
  • Ellie Goulding sings Lights
  • Little Jackie’s The Stoop
  • Semi Charmed Life – Third Eye Blind
  • Matt and Kim’s Daylight
  • and, of course, a little Len
  • (Check out BU Central’s playlist)

And I’m hoping the word playlist includes:

  • Creative
  • Smart
  • Charismatic dignity
  • Comm Ave
  • City
  • Home
  • Poetry
  • Crib Sheet
  • Winning
  • Intelligence
  • Green
  • Virtuous patience
  • Meaningful shared experiences
  • Choices
  • Well
  • Memorable
  • Safe
  • Convo
  • Happy

See you on the Ave. Enjoy.

Peace.
