Darling Dogs Distract From Deadlines – And Other Studying Resources

Need a study break that will melt some of that final exam and paper stress away? BU Today reports that Mugar Memorial Library will be bringing in therapy dogs on Thursday (5-8 p.m.) and Friday (5-9 p.m.) of study period.

Once you’ve spent time with your new favorite canine, here are some spots you can study, finish those final projects and relieve some stress:

Mugar Memorial Library will be open 24 hours from 7am on Thursday, December 12th until 2am on Friday, December 20th. If you are headed to the library late at night, be sure to bring your BU ID, because only BU students are allowed in after a certain hour. A van service will also be made available in the wee hours to make sure you get home from studying safely.

Metcalf Hall in the George Sherman Union (GSU) is set up for a giant study hall until the end of finals. Hours are the same as the rest of the building. When not otherwise used for meetings, conference rooms on the third floor of the GSU are also available as study space.

Hillel House (213 Bay State Road) will have extended study hours Wednesday, December 11th and Thursday, December 12th. They will be open until midnight both nights, and will have free coffee and tea for your caffeine needs.

The Fitness and Recreation Center will be holding a variety of dance and fitness classes for study breaks. One of note is Micki Taylor-Pinney’s Stretch and Relaxation class, being held Thursday, December 12th at 12pm.
