It’s Sustainability at BU Earth Day Festival time!

One of the best days on the BU calendar has to be the Sustainability at BU Earth Day Festival. There are so many tables and things to do, yummy food and a chance to learn how to live a more sustainable life.

This year’s edition will take place Wednesday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the George Sherman Union (GSU) Plaza. They definitely lucked out with the weather again this year, as the forecast calls for it to be 66 degrees and partly cloudy. (No rain! No snow! We can all be happy with that.)

This year’s festival will include BU Dining Service’s famous “Chowda Throwdown,” where you can taste and vote on chowder recipes from each dining hall. There will also be a sustainable art show and competition and a chance for you to donate old work clothes to Goodwill as part of the “Take Your Clothes To Work” initiative.

The festival is a part of Sustainability at BU’s Earth Week +, several weeks of April programming commemorating Earth Day.
