Come and meet with Vestergaard Frandsen Thursday morning, January 26 about their fully funded practicums to work with their regional team in Accra, Ghana this summer.
Vestergaard Frandsen is a European company that operates under a unique “humanitarian entrepreneurship” business model. It is dedicated to creating and deploying technologies that improve the health of people in developing countries. This approach has turned corporate social responsibility into Vestergaard Frandsen’s core business, and includes strong support of the MDGs.
Vestergaard Frandsen has partnered with BUSPH and the BUSM to fund three practicums in Accra, Ghana for the summer of 2012. These practicums present an excellent opportunity to develop and use public health assessment and planning skills to improve point of source water quality and to learn how to integrate public health with private sector business strategy.
