Policy Forum Summary
US leadership and its global investments in health have an impact on women and their families. Healthy women are the cornerstone for healthy families and communities. Women play a number of diverse roles in society, as mothers, caregivers, and productive members of the economy. Their health is critical for the children they bear; children with healthy mothers live longer and have better health outcomes than children whose mothers have died. This event is for students and development partners who are interested in how Massachusetts based organizations are working locally and impacting globally.
