Insider tips to land your global health internship!

Could you use insider tips to compete for global health internships? Do you fear that you lack the international experience some internships demand? Unsure about overseas travel in developing countries? We can help!

We are offering a free webinar to explain how best to display your passions and important life experiences in your GHFP-II application. One of the goals of GHFP-II is to develop the next generation of global health professionals that is representative of the diversity of the American people. We want to encourage a broad range of young people to consider how well their interests and skills in domestic health or in underserved communities in the US can translate to the global level.

In this interactive webinar, a senior GHFP-II staffer will take you through the basics – crafting a great application, focusing the résumé for maximum effectiveness – and much more! Interns from previous cohorts will join us to describe first-hand their USAID experiences. Learn more about our interns here. You will also have the chance to get your specific questions answered in a Q&A session during the event, and all of this from wherever is most convenient for you!

The Global Health Fellows Program II has a strong internship program, with more than 20 coveted positions for summer 2013. All positions are with the Bureau for Global Health in the US Agency for International Development in Washington, D.C. Detailed internship descriptions and applications will be available in late autumn at www.ghfp.net.
