Patricia Cahill

Program Manager and Administrator

Patricia serves as the Program Manager and Administrator for the Initiative on Cities. She manages internal IOC events and programming including the Urban Seminar Series, serves as coordinator for the IOC’s five undergraduate and graduate student fellowships, manages the IOC’s seed grant fund, and oversees undergraduate student staff. Prior to joining the IOC, Patricia worked in community relations with Harvard University’s Public Affairs and Communications Office, and for the Massachusetts Development and Finance Agency, where she focused on issues related to community benefits and economic development programming for Gateway Cities. Patricia received a dual degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is currently pursuing a Masters in City Planning at Boston University’s Metropolitan College. Patricia serves as the President of the Urban Planning Association at BU and is a member of the City of Boston SPARK Council, a coalition of young Bostonians engaged in public service.
