Mexican Revolution’s 100th Anniversary Events: October – November

This program is an extension of “Creating an Archetype: The Influence of the Mexican Revolution in the US,” a large-scale symposium and cultural festival commemorating the centennial anniversary of the Mexican Revolution atWashington, D.C.’s National Museum of American History. The entire program received federal support from the Smithsonian Latino Center’s Latino Initiatives Pool and additional support from various institutions, including the Mexican Cultural Institute, the University of Maryland’s Latin American Studies Center, the GeorgeWashington University’s Columbian College of Arts and Sciences and Department of Modern and Slavic Languages, and Boston University’s Humanities Foundation, Latin American Studies Program, International Programs division, Department of Film and Television, Department of Romance Studies, and College of Arts and Sciences.
