Adela Pineda Recieved a Bellas Artes de Ensayo Literario Malcolm Lowry

Associate Professor of Spanish Adela Pineda has won the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (the equivalent of Mexico’s National Endowment for the Arts) for her manuscript on John Steinbeck and Mexico. Prominent writers, including Jose Emilio Pacheco and Ignacio Padilla, have received this national prize in the past. Results information can be found here.
