Doctoral graduate student, José Luis Nogales Baena, travels to Mexico for research and talk

5668-IMG_BG_POST-_invitacion_(1)Doctoral graduate student, José Luis Nogales Baena, received a Latin American Studies Program (LASP) travel grant that allowed him to complete research at the National Library and in the National Newspaper and Periodicals Library of Mexico, both of which are an integral part of the UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico). The travel grant also allowed José Luis to participate in a talk that took place in the Xavier Villaurrutia Center for Literary Creation, which belongs to INBA (National Institute of Fine Arts). The talk lasted approximately two hours and included the essayist, critic, narrator and journalist Noé Cárdenas, and the current director of the National Museum of Anthropology of Mexico, Antonio Saborit, reputed historian, translator, editor and essayist.
