Ex-NAACP Leader to Deliver Drexel U. Graduation Speech

Former NAACP President Cornell William Brooks will address the graduates of Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law at commencement set for 3:30 p.m. Friday.

The law school will celebrate graduation of 163 students during its 10th commencement ceremony at the Kimmel Performing Arts Center, 300 S. Broad St. Of those graduating, 125 will receive a JD, 30 will receive a master’s in legal studies and eight will receive an LLM in American legal practice.

The former NAACP president is currently a senior fellow at New York University School of Law’s Brennan Center for Justice and serves as a visiting professor of Social Ethics, Law and Justice Movements at Boston University’s School of Law and School of Theology.
