Congratulations to our first Conference Grant winners!
CMTM has selected the winners of the our first Conference Grant Program competition!
Please join us in congratulating Samanta Negrete Munoz, a rising junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering at the University of California at Irvine, as well as Dane Nielson, also a rising Biomedical Engineering junior, but at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Samanta and Dane submitted compelling research statements to our competition, and won free registration and student membership to the 2021 Biophysical Society Annual Meeting (BPS21), taking place this week online. (Registration is still open if you want to catch the last few days of this fantastic event!) Samanta and Dane will also have the opportunity to meet with PIs and current graduate students affiliated with CMTM, in order to learn more about our Center and about the College of Engineering graduate programs and ongoing research here at Boston University.
We will be releasing information in the coming weeks about upcoming opportunities to apply for our Conference Grant Program, the first of which will be registration to the The Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) Annual World Conference 2021 — so check our website often and follow us on Twitter to learn more!
Congratulations again to Samanta and Dane! We hope you have a wonderful experience at the conference.
