Theresa Davies

Assistant Dean, Graduate Medical Sciences & Program Director, MS in Oral Health Sciences Program

As the Director of a Masters program that has a large cohort of students who are first in their family to attend college, I have had the privilege of assisting them as they strive to succeed and achieve their goals. I’ve learned so much about the challenges they have faced and continue to face as they work to gain admission to professional school. I continue to learn about myself, and gain awareness of many issues and more importantly how I can help. More recently, as Assistant Dean in GMS, I have helped to launch the Community Catalyst Center (C3) to build community in the graduate school and have enjoyed working with all the students including those in our affinity groups, especially our gFIRSTs! Building relationships, listening, sharing and helping students gain their educational needs and reach their professional goals is my passion.
