I know how hard it is to be successful at large schools as a First Gen and how difficult it was for my parents and relatives to understand my continuing for advanced degrees. I feel like I can offer the support that students today are lacking in their educational quests. I have had many mentoring relationships at BU and hope that I can connect with some First Get students as well.
