Prof. Najam Talks about the IPCC and Its Nobel Prize-Winning Work

Pardee Center Director Adil Najam, who was on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for work in advancing the public understanding of the science of climate change, spoke at various events related to current debates on climate change.
Prof. Najam has served on the IPCC, a blue-ribbon panel of the world’s leading climate scientists, for the last eight years. He was a Coordinating Lead Author for the chapter on Sustainable Development for the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report and a Lead Author for the IPCC Third Assessment Report.
Along with other IPCC authors he spoke about the IPCC, its impact, and the future of global climate change policy at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and at Harvard University.
