William Keylor, Professor of International Relations and History at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was recently interviewed on President-Elect Donald Trump’s comments on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s response to sanctions imposed on Russia by President Barack Obama.

Keylor was interviewed for a December 31, 2016 article in The Boston Herald  entitled “Trump Says Putin Response to Sanctions ‘Very Smart’

From the text of the article:

Boston University international relations professor William Keylor said the president-elect’s “intrusion into foreign policy-making” was unprecedented, and it “conveyed the message that Putin and the Russian government should not worry about any consequences for the hacking of the American electoral system during the campaign.

“It was really an extraordinary situation where the intelligence community has concluded that the Russians were responsible for hacking into the campaign and yet the president-elect seems to be saying, ‘Let’s move on. Let’s let bygones be bygones,’ ” Keylor told the Herald.
