PHO Faculty Member Jerome Mertz Publishes an Article on Microscopy in Nature Methods
Photonics faculty member Jerome Mertz has published an article in Nature Methods called “Microscopy Without Fluorescence to Peek Under the Tissue Surface.” This article highlights Professor Mertz’s background and work including his focus on improving two-photon excitation fluorescence microscopy and developing novel phase-contrast techniques. It also discusses his current work on developing an endoscope with high resolution based on OBM for use in colonoscopies.
