Professor Vivien Schmidt Publishes Boston Globe Op-Ed
Vivien Schmidt, Professor of Political Science and Professor of International Relations recently published an Op-Ed in the Boston Globe – “Eurozone Crisis Reveals Lack of Clear Leadership”. Drawing on her expertise in European Politics and Political Economy, Schmidt argues that Europe’s financial issues are tied to problems in politics, political institutions, and leadership. As Schmidt points out, nearly all coverage of the European crisis comes from financial and economics perspectives and overlooks important political challenges and shortcomings.
