Funding Opportunity: American Council of Learned Societies Digital Justice Development Grants

Purpose: To support projects that 1) diversify the digital domain, 2) advance justice and equity in digital scholarly practice, and/or 3) contribute to public understanding of racial and social justice issues.
Proposed projects should critically engage with the interests and histories of people of color and other historically-marginalized communities; advance beyond the prototyping or proof-of-concept phase; cultivate greater openness to new sources of knowledge and strategic approaches to content building and knowledge dissemination; and engage in capacity-building efforts.
Eligibility: At least one of the project’s principal investigators (PI) must be a scholar in the humanities or interpretive social sciences.
Funding: Up to $100,000 over 12-18 months, no indirect costs (IDC)
