All Sargent programs are now in the top 6 percent in their respective fields with occupational therapy recognized as the #1 program in the nation. Updated standings are as follows:

  • Occupational Therapy: 1 out of 164  (previously #2, in 2012)
  • Physical Therapy: 14 out of  217 (previously #16)
  • Speech-Language Pathology: 12 out of  249 (previously #21)

Conducted every four years, these U.S. News rankings are based solely on peer assessment data. Those surveyed include program directors and senior faculty at schools with accredited health and rehabilitation programs.

With innovative programs like the Orthopaedic Fellowship and new Entry-Level OTD program, cutting edge research in psychoacoustics and linguistics, and pioneering new events like Health Matters, not only is Sargent we leading the way in health and rehabilitation education, our peers are taking notice.

Sargent is a tremendous group of scholars, researchers, and clinicians who come to work each day ready to make a difference. We look forward to continuing this long-standing tradition of excellence.
