SLHS Students Walk for MS

Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences undergraduates Casey Bowen, Michelle Grbic, and Allison Hatch participated in the Walk for MS as part of BU’s National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, an organization on campus for students interested in study of communication disorders. The primary goal of Walk MS is to raise funds to help people who have MS, and their families, through MS education, support, advocacy, services, and research.

“The mission of the B.U. chapter of NSSLHA is to support educational and professional growth opportunities for students, and foster positive communication among students and faculty. We do this by organizing and assisting with social and formal events, including professional conferences, and organizing fund-raising projects to benefit our department, our students, and the greater NSSLHA/ASHA community.”
