WCVB-TV: Physical Therapist Stacey Sirotta (SAR ’08) Helps Amesbury Teen Defy the Odds
(11/14/2018, WCVB-TV)
Physical Therapist Stacey Sirotta (SAR ’08, SAR ’03, SAR ’01) is featured as part of a WCVB-TV profile on the recovery of Gage Senter. A promising hockey player chosen for the Junior Olympic team, Senter experienced a brain injury after a car crash in 2015. Gage worked almost every day with Sirotta at the May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders in Brockton.
“Senter refused to give up and he refused to let go of his dream: to get back on the ice. As he slowly improved, Sirotta realized it might be possible. So at a local rink, with Sirotta and another therapist by his side, Senter took to the ice for the first time in almost two years.”
