An Online Support Group for BUSSW Social Workers

Now, more than ever before, group work is needed to strengthen connections to colleagues locally, regionally and globally. When traditional systems such as agencies and clinics are upended by the pandemic, we can find ourselves feeling unmoored and lost. Boston University School of Social Work is offering a four-session series of support groups for BUSSW social workers — an opportunity to come together, share concerns, help build resilience, and take action consistent with BUSSW’s longstanding commitment to social justice.

This group will be facilitated by Mark Gianino, PhD, LICSW, clinical and social group work professor at BUSSW, and will meet on four consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30-7:45. There is no fee for BUSSW alums and there is no requirement to commit to all of the group sessions.

Currently there is a waitlist for this program. Additional sessions are being considered. Please check this page for updates.

Thank you to the PEP Program at BUSSW for making these provider support sessions possible. To learn more about PEP, please visit the Professional Education Programs website.
