Professor Hudson Co-Edits Current Issue of Generations
Rob Hudson, Professor and Chair of the Social Welfare Policy Department, is serving as co-editor of the current issue of Generations. The focus of the issue is "The Aging Workforce: Are We Ready?"
The volume explores demographic and economic trends related to older workers, employer and employee perspectives on working into late adulthood, and recent changes in labor market and pension policy influencing the work/retirement decision. Hudson and Professor Judith Gonyea contributed an article "The Evolving Role of Public Policy in Promoting Work and Retirement" to the issue.
Generations is the quarterly publication of the American Society on Aging. Hudson has served as a guest editor for the journal on two previous occasions.
