Featured Video: Dr. Funk’s Greatest Hits: Myths and Realities in Neuroscience

As social workers intervene and treat a wide array of health issues, a clear understanding of neurobiology and evidence-based interventions are critical to success. To address these issues, Boston University School of Social Work’s Spring Neuroscience Colloquium featured Dr. Janice Funk, director of the Whittier Memory Clinic in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The clinic provides assessment and treatment to individuals who suffer from dementia. In this video, Dr. Funk presented three segments on the topics of depression; the neurobiology of love; and Alzheimer’s disease.
