11/12: Prof. Donna McLaughlin Helps Plan Parkinson’s Disease Support Group Conference

Prof. Donna McLaughlin is a planning committee member for the 2022 Parkinson’s Disease Support Group Facilitator Conference hosted by the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA). This conference will allow support group facilitators to meet, collaborate, and share expertise on best practices for working with those affected by Parkinson’s disease and their caretakers. The conference will feature experts and clinical practitioners to update attendees on disease research and explore ways to support care partners. Prof. McLaughlin has worked with the APDA to train support group workers in New England since 2018. She will host two sessions covering how to facilitate support groups in-person and virtually.
