Nancy Kaye Honored by NASW-AZ with Lifetime Achievement Award

March 27, 2017 — Every social work organization celebrates Social Work Month in a unique way. In Arizona, the NASW has an annual awards tradition that recognizes two AZ-based social workers who have made outstanding contributions to their field and community. We are proud to announce that this year’s winner for the NASW-AZ’s Lifetime Achievement Award is Nancy Kaye, a BUSSW alumna and a Regional Advisor for our Online Program.

Kaye, who is also an Off-Site Field Instructor at Arizona State University School of Social Work, has exhibited a wide-ranging commitment to helping others that spans years and has touched the live of countless people.

Before assuming her current positions, Kaye worked as a school social worker, assisting special needs children and their families while raising a family of her own. Five years ago, Kaye retired and moved to Tucson, AZ where she continued her social work practice by helping college-aged students pursue careers in social work.

NASW-AZ’s Lifetime Achievement Award is a tribute to Kaye’s dedication and expertise.
