Matrimonial Mixups—Wedding Bells Will Soon be Ringing

Marriage was never far from the minds of the class of 1912. Social expectations dictated that behind every great clergyman was his wife. Naturally, the pastor’s wife also played a leading role in the community. Here, rather than thinking about social decorum and exigencies, the young men express delight and giddy joy over the prospects of their future nuptials.

We, the undersigned, wish to announce our engagements to our respective lady friends, whom you may or may not know. (Ask us about it.)
